Government Code Sections 19995.4(c-e) Requires that each CEA, manager, and supervisor must be provided a minimum of 20 hours of leadership training and development training biennially.
The required leadership and development training is also known as the biennial training requirement, which is required to be completed every two years.
The two-year period for the biennial training requirement begins either upon the end of the probation period or completion of initial training requirements for newly appointed CEAs, managers, and supervisors.
